Self-consumption photovoltaic installation for the flooring and wall coverings industry

A series of industrial self-consumption photovoltaic installations on rooftops, on the ground and on canopies, installed by Grupotec for the Porcelanosa Group – which specialises in ceramic flooring and wall tiles – at its production facilities in Vila-real (Castellón). The project forms part of the company’s energy efficiency and decarbonisation strategy; the company has been progressively expanding its solar self-consumption capacity for years, and this project confirms Grupotec’s status as a technical leader in the Valencian ceramics sector, one of the sectors with the highest energy requirements in Spanish industry.
