Self-consumption photovoltaic system for a power supply unit

An industrial self-consumption photovoltaic installation of 27.8 MWp on ground, executed by Grupotec for ElPozo Alimentación (Grupo Fuertes) at its complex in Alhama de Murcia. The project included the construction of both overhead and underground evacuation lines to the substation, as well as the expansion of the substation itself. Upon commissioning, it became the largest industrial self-consumption photovoltaic installation in Spain at the time and one of the most technically and economically significant projects delivered by Grupotec’s Engineering Division. The installation directly contributes to reducing ElPozo’s carbon footprint, which achieved a 25% decrease in emissions over the 2020–2025 period thanks to investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
