At Grupotec, innovation doesn’t begin in a laboratory — it begins in every project. For years, we have been integrating AI, automation, digitalisation and technical specialisation into our design, construction and asset operation processes. In 2026, we took a further step: we created the Grupotec Innovation Hub, our dedicated innovation area, with its own roadmap and the drive of the entire team behind it. The goal is to transform our accumulated technical expertise into higher-value services for our clients and into projects that are more efficient, safer and more sustainable.

We automate repetitive tasks, digitalise quality control on site and connect design, construction and operation in a continuous flow of information. The result: fewer errors, less rework and decisions made on real data.

We are evolving our model to support clients throughout the entire asset life cycle: from design through to advanced operation. Intelligent monitoring, integrated energy management and data-driven maintenance.

We develop our own tools, collaborate with the UPV on industrial doctorates and work alongside ITE and the Innovation Club. This allows us to offer differentiated capabilities in utility-scale photovoltaics, advanced BIM and other areas that translate into more competitive proposals for our clients.
