Advanced wastewater treatment for the cosmetics industry

Design, construction and operation of an industrial wastewater treatment plant for very high-load cosmetic effluent, combining physico-chemical flotation with a CAF flotation unit, mechanical vapour compression evaporation and advanced ozone oxidation to treat approximately 33,000 m³/year of wastewater, transforming a complex waste stream into a treated water flow and an easily manageable concentrate. The project includes long-term operation and maintenance by Grupotec, under a BOOT financing model, with a tariff per cubic metre treated and comprehensive services covering operation, analysis and waste management, thereby significantly reducing external management costs and the facility’s environmental footprint.
