Redevelopment of the areas surrounding the Roig Arena
Grupotec has been involved in the site management of the redevelopment project for the area surrounding the Roig Arena, the large multi-purpose venue developed in Valencia and due to open in 2025. The development adjacent to the arena, with an investment of over 6.6 million euros, involved the comprehensive transformation of the urban space surrounding one of the city’s landmark facilities, encompassing the streets of Actor Antonio Ferrandis, Bomber Ramón Duart, Pintor Gassent and Ángel de Villena.

Access to a new landmark venue
Grupotec’s technical team provided support to the site management team in the implementation of the various urban utility systems, including the water supply, sewerage, irrigation and public lighting networks, ensuring their correct installation and operation in accordance with the required technical and regulatory standards. It also helped supervise the paving works, which involved laying cobblestones over an area of more than 25,000 m², constructing pavements and laying concrete, thereby creating the new public space in the area.
The result was the creation of a 21,000 m² urban park featuring green spaces, trees, sports facilities and street furniture, helping to improve the environmental and functional quality of one of the most significant areas of Valencia’s recent urban development.
