Facilities at the Nou Mestalla stadium
The various parties involved in the design and construction of Valencia Club de Fútbol’s new stadium have entrusted Grupotec with the project design and site management for the facilities. The Nou Mestalla is a project of great technical complexity and symbolic importance for the city, encompassing the mechanical, electrical, air-conditioning, drainage and specialised systems of the sports ground.

A smart energy stadium for the fans
The new stadium covers a floor area of over 69,000 m² and has a maximum capacity of almost 65,000 seats, arranged in several tiers of stands that wrap around the pitch to enhance the fans’ experience.
The design incorporates a large, lightweight perimeter roof, designed to accommodate the future installation of solar panels, as well as perforated façade rings that allow for the interplay of light and natural ventilation in the spaces between them.
The Nou Mestalla is designed as a state-of-the-art stadium, incorporating advanced criteria for sustainability, accessibility and energy efficiency, in line with the requirements of LaLiga and European competitions. The integration of smart management systems, high-efficiency LED lighting and passive thermal control solutions makes the new stadium a benchmark in contemporary sports infrastructure.
