Last Friday, January 28, the II People who Shine Solidarity Gala was held, an initiative led by SPB together with about 50 companies and institutions. GRUPOTEC is one of the companies that actively participates in this project that aims to promote health and efficiency, within the framework of CSR and the SDGs, making people protagonists.
During the gala, more than € 17,550 was raised from the 23 companies participating in the 2018 challenge that will go to the Optimista Hospital Awards and the Ronald McDonald House in Valencia.
These donations have come from the People Who Shine app “Run to the Moon”. It is an application that allows you to add kilometers through three types of actions, physical activity, mindfulness and actions on the SDGs.
The Gala also made progress on the solidarity causes that will be collaborated with in 2019. There will be a total of 10 that will be supported with different initiatives. In fact, the kilometers added in the first semester will go to support the work of “Moms in Action”
The regional secretary of employment, Enric Nomdedèu and the undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Public Health, Juan Ángel Poyatos, participated in the event and conveyed their support to the Valencian government for this initiative.
