TEMS School (The English Montessori School) Madrid
Grupotec has designed and built the new campus of The English Montessori School in Madrid, a bilingual educational centre for primary and secondary school pupils conceived as a forest school open to nature. The project, developed by Marquee Capital, integrates architecture, pedagogy and sustainability into an environment where vegetation plays an active role in the learning process.

Learning in the forest: a school where architecture embraces nature
The programme comprises 47 classrooms, laboratories, a library, a multi-purpose hall and a canteen, all equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that meet stringent energy efficiency criteria. The building blends into a spacious outdoor area where green spaces coexist with areas designed to foster creativity, well-being and a connection with the natural environment.
The outdoor sports facilities — a football pitch, a running track and play areas — complete a campus designed as a holistic educational environment: a place to learn, be active and grow whilst in touch with nature.
