Cold storage logistics facility for the food supply industry

Engineering services for the 11,000 m² extension of STEF Iberia’s refrigerated logistics centre at the Las Fronteras Industrial Estate in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid), the Spanish headquarters of Europe’s largest operator specialising in temperature-controlled logistics. STEF Iberia operates a network of 22 multi-temperature hubs in Spain with over 1,900 employees, and manages the transport and storage of fresh, frozen and temperature-sensitive products for the agri-food industry. The expansion, carried out by Grupotec, boosts cold storage capacity at the main logistics hub on the Madrid-Mediterranean corridor, a strategic location for temperature-controlled distribution in central Spain.
