Opening of Los Cantiles, Madrid’s new organic waste treatment plant

On 7 January, the Los Cantiles composting plant was officially opened by Madrid City Council, the developer of the facility. The Mayor of Madrid (José Luis Martínez-Almeida) was in attendance, alongside leading Madrid authorities from the environmental sector and several of our colleagues who were involved in managing the construction project.
