Grupotec is set to exceed the €300 million turnover mark in 2025
19 December 2025
On Thursday, Grupotec presented its 2025 year-end figures and strategic priorities for the coming financial year to its nearly 700 employees. The event, which took place at the Roig Arena in Valencia, brought together all the company’s teams, who had travelled from all the locations where the company carries out projects, as well as from its offices in London, Madrid, Seville and Murcia.
The Board of Directors explained that the 2025 financial year will close with a turnover of 306 million euros and that the forecast for next year is to increase business by 7 per cent, thanks to the momentum of the Renewables division and growth in the other two major business areas: the Engineering division and the Real Estate division.

Furthermore, recent years – and in particular the financial year now drawing to a close – have enabled the company to drive innovation as a cross-cutting priority that permeates all divisions and all projects. This commitment to innovation has taken the form of industrial PhD programmes, proof-of-concept trials and an open channel for all employees to propose innovative solutions and challenges.
Strength across all divisions
In the Renewables division, 2025 has served to consolidate the growth of previous years. This area, which accounts for approximately 70 per cent of the company’s total business, has continued to grow in 2025, focusing on large-scale power stations.
The company has confirmed that it has now built more than 2.7 GW and maintains a leading position in markets such as the United Kingdom, Italy and, of course, Spain.
In total, Grupotec’s Renewables division has completed projects in 17 countries.
The Engineering division, which focuses primarily on engineering services and EPC projects in the water and bioenergy sectors, as well as energy self-consumption for industry, accounts for 15 per cent of turnover. This division is the group’s foundation; it generates synergies across all areas and maintains sustained growth, with 450 projects commissioned by 2025, all aimed at making industrial processes more sustainable.
For its part, the Real Estate division brings together property development and investment, architecture, fit-out, project management, and design and construction. It provides clients with diversified services across the entire value chain. The aim for this division is to strengthen “the significant added value of our areas, which lies in the synergies between our activities”.
This division includes projects such as The English Montessori School in Madrid, a ‘flex living’ project in Valencia, and Grupotec’s own new and iconic premises in the Ikon building in Valencia.

New strategic directions
Grupotec’s annual meeting is the occasion to present the company’s new strategic directions to the entire team.
In this regard, management has confirmed its commitment to continuing to expand its activities in the battery sector as a key tool for the development of energy hybridisation projects. Opportunities are also being pursued in the bioenergy sector and in data centres – a key sector for society’s needs, which requires sustainable solutions in construction engineering and energy systems.
New premises
In 2025, Grupotec opened its new corporate headquarters in the Ikon building in Valencia, marking a significant milestone in the history of the engineering, renewables, architecture and construction firm. The new space has been designed and built in line with the company’s commitment to technical excellence, sustainability and the wellbeing of its staff.
The new headquarters, covering more than 5,000 square metres spread over three floors, is designed to accommodate more than 400 professionals and facilitate collaborative work across the group’s various disciplines. The spaces incorporate advanced technology, creative areas and fully equipped meeting and training rooms, promoting the exchange of ideas amongst the nearly 700 people who make up the company’s team worldwide.
