Photovoltaic and energy storage system for self-consumption at an events venue

La Bona Tradició, a leading name in events and gastronomy in Valencia, has taken a significant step towards a more efficient and sustainable energy model with the commissioning of a new solar photovoltaic installation developed entirely by Grupotec. The project involved expanding the existing installation to a total capacity of 195.12 kWp, incorporating a new 184.32 kWp photovoltaic system and an energy storage system with a power rating of 108 kW and a capacity of 215 kWh. The work was carried out on the roofs of the premises using a coplanar solution, optimising renewable energy generation without compromising the aesthetics or functionality of the complex. With this project, Masía Xamandreu reinforces its commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency and reducing emissions, integrating renewable energy into a space where tradition, gastronomy and events now coexist with more responsible and efficient energy management.
