Grupotec establishes its new office in Murcia and strengthens its presence in the region

Since the summer of 2025, the Engineering division has been moving into new premises in the Region of Murcia, which are now fully operational. In this way, it continues to consolidate its regional growth strategy and bring its engineering services closer to clients and projects within its geographical area of influence.
A commitment to organic growth and local talent
The new Murcia office, located in the Torre JEMECA Business Centre, has emerged organically in response to the growth in projects in the region and the talent that Grupotec has attracted in the area.
This branch, which reports organisationally to the Valencia head office, forms part of the Engineering Division and is home to a team currently comprising eight professionals (Miguel Ángel Martínez and Javier Linares, from the BIM department; and Juan José Muñoz, Pablo Tovar, Miguel Ángel Salinas, Alejandro David Pérez and José Egea, from the Engineering Services department).
The office is headed by Tomás Riquelme, who leads the team in managing and developing Engineering Services projects in the branch’s catchment area, optimising proximity to clients and the ability to respond to market needs.
The opening of this new office represents a significant milestone in Grupotec’s regional expansion strategy, reaffirming the company’s commitment to proximity, professionalism and the creation of value in all the regions where it operates. An example of this is the recent formalisation of a contract with a new client for Grupotec: JGH Logística, one of the region’s leading companies in the field of logistics and the transport of chilled and frozen products. “The addition of this client is the result of the work carried out during the preliminary design phase, during which JGH recognised the distinctive value—both technical and in terms of resources—that Grupotec offers compared to other alternatives on the market.
