Grupotec’s photovoltaic projects in Limebury (North Devon), Highfield (South Cambridge), and Little Drum (Dumfries and Galloway) have been awarded 20-year Contracts for Difference (CfD) in the UK’s Round 7a auction, ensuring stable long-term revenue for each project. The three solar farms —of 6.5 MW, 21 MW, and 47 MW— are at different stages of development. Limebury is already operational, while Highfield and Little Drum are expected to become fully operational in 2026 and 2027 respectively.

This long-term revenue framework strengthens the financial certainty and value of the projects, reducing exposure to wholesale market volatility and providing a solid foundation for Grupotec to further contribute to the UK’s sustainability objectives.

The company continues to build on its specialized technical expertise and its integrated capabilities across the entire value chain.

With extensive experience in the development, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of renewable generation facilities, Grupotec is one of Europe’s leading photovoltaic EPC contractors. It is currently ranked among the top 5 EPC companies in the United Kingdom.

The success of these projects reflects the dedication of Grupotec’s 700 employees and partners through commitment, integrity, professionalism, and a people-first approach.

In parallel with project execution, Grupotec remains deeply committed to sustainability — ensuring not only a positive environmental impact but also meaningful benefits for local communities.
